Strength Scoring in BNN Astrology: How to Weigh Planetary Power

Strength scoring in Bhrigu Nandi Nadi (BNN) astrology is a systematic tool for assessing how powerfully a planet can deliver its predicted results. Not all planetary indicators are equal — a strong planet produces its results clearly and on time, while a weak planet produces diluted, delayed or disrupted results even when correctly identified as the Hero Planet.

In BNN, planetary strength is assessed through:

  • Dignity — is the planet exalted, in own sign, friend's sign, neutral or debilitated?
  • Enclosure — is the planet surrounded by benefics or malefics?
  • Aspects received — beneficial aspects from Jupiter or Venus strengthen; malefic aspects weaken
  • Degree — planets at very low or very high degrees (0° or 29°) have reduced strength
  • Retrograde status — retrograde planets have modified expression of their strength

Strength scoring is the final calibration tool before a prediction is stated — it determines how confidently the prediction is framed and how quickly or clearly the event is expected to manifest.
